There are numerous fundraising initiatives going on - yoga classes, second hand clothes collection, recycle4charity, easyfundraising.org and more. Here are a few of the events we have run since 2012....
2019 Cookery Demo
Chef Rosemary Leech ran a cookery demonstration in Ingoldsby on Wed 12th and Thurs 13th June. A wonderful couple of events were enjoyed by 30 ladies and an amazing £850 was raised. Huge thanks to Rosemary, Sally and Jayne and also the support of Private Cellar Wines and Belvoir Fruit Farms who supported the event.
2018 Summer BBQ Party
Held on a sunny evening in July, St Nicholas hosted a BBQ feast with an array of salads and puddings with the wonderful choir entertaining everyone with showtunes. An impressive £790 was raised. Thank you to the choir, Tony & Rosemary for all their organisation and all the wonderful volunteers who helped cook and serve on the night.
2016 Summer BBQ Party
Held on Saturday July 29th at St Nicholas Church, Walcot! It was £10 per ticket and that included food and entertainment. There was a bar serving wine, soft drinks and beer and a fun auction of a few prizes. A total of £700 was raised. A big thank you to the Buchans and Knights for all their hard work!
2014 Cookery Demo
Rosemary Leech of Serious Cookware ran a cookery demonstration over two days in October with all proceeds going to Walcot Church. A brilliant £800 was raised. A big thank you to Rosemary and Sally Knight & Jayne Dowty for organising!
2013 Quiz Night
On Saturday 21st September 2013, Folkingham Village Hall was packed full of quiz goers. A great quiz with chilli and puddings plus a bar and a raffle meant a brilliant £1,200 was raised! A big thank you to Tony & Rosemary and everyone involved for all their hard work!
2012 Quiz Night
Bangers & Dash! was a hugely successful night with a packed village hall of 125 quiz goers! An amazing £1,525.33 was raised! A very big thank you to Rosemary and Tony for organising so brilliantly!
2012 Wine Tasting
X40+ different fine wines were on offer in November 2012 to taste from New Zealand, Australia, France, Italy, Spain, Argentina and Chile. A very successful evening that raised £700. A big thank you to Colin and Carol Love of 'Love Fine Wines.'
